What HOMEWARD is — and is not
HOMEWARD provides planning, navigation and family coordination. It does not diagnose medical conditions, provide emergency response, legal advice or financial advice. When a regulated or licensed service is needed, such as personal care or home health aides, it is delivered through our licensed care partners or other independent licensed providers, not by HOMEWARD.
Common questions
Do you drive my parent to appointments?
HOMEWARD coordinates rides through family, community programs and transportation services; it is not a transportation company.
Can someone go with my parent into the appointment?
Families can arrange for a family member or companion to attend. Ask the office about its visitor policy.
Do you give medical advice?
No. HOMEWARD helps the family stay organized around what the care team recommends.
